I downloaded a different soundpack (Duke Nukem) to see how the directory of every folder and file should be like but whenever I open my .ts3soundpack it says "Failed to read Add-On info."
I even copied its layout for the package.ini.

If you want to Copy something and upload it as your own then you will have no chance.
You did something wrong by copying it, did you even restore the files in a .ZIP-folder or a .RAR?
Well .RAR is the wrong one.
It would be better to do your own stuff.
I'll try to restore it as .zip.
All the sounds where made by me. I found a different thread recommending the person to download the duke nukem soundpack to see how things worked.
Restoring the soundpack as a zip doesn't really help with my problem. My addon doesn't work when i rename it with the .ts3_soundpack extension.
Why don't you upload it somewhere so we do not need to guess what is wrong?

It's not uploading which is the problem. I really want to make the package installer work so it is easier for people to use this soundpack. There is an error when I open the package installer than I made. I have the correct path and everything but i still get this error.
Is there any other thing that can cause this error?
I do not want to repeat myself.
We are guessing what could be wrong and there are better ways (like you show us the sound pack by uploading it somewhere) to waste time.

just go to mediafire.com or somewhere to upload your file, let me download it and i'll check it (or someone here)
rar files are no supported format.
It must be a zip file container.
