    I sure hope so since I did start a new thread about this yesterday and it was merged into here. Maybe when @dante696 merged the thread he should have removed the resolved flag since it clearly is not longer resolved. 24 hours and still not working.

    Solved Resolving accounting2.teamspeak.com Bad Gateway

    Hello All,

    First-time poster and really first time visitor. Yesterday I purchased the 128 slots for 2 servers license from Teamspeak. I received the license and applied it to my server. Not seeing any initial issues and successfully able to up the client limit on my server to 128, I headed off to bed. Serveral hours later when I woke up for work, had serveral pings on Discord that Teamspeak was down. So I checked the logs and found the log entries below. I determined the culprit was accounting2.teamspeak.com. I could successfully ping but I kept getting the error message that when my server tried to checkin with it, it would receive a 502 Bad Gateway Error message. Reference the logs below (Not mine, my dumba$$ accidentally deleted them while testing the fix for this.)

    So I combed the forums. Found quite a few people with the same error message, but no real help. Nobody with a rock solid THIS IS THE FIX, accept for one dude.

    I have no clue who this is, and I know that his post does make all that much sense, but it got me where I needed to go.

    So MY FIX for this issue was to add the Public IP Address of my server, rather the IP Address that your clients will connect to teh server on, and then the IP Address of the accounting2.teamspeak.com. At the time of this post that is 104.20.74.196. I hope the offers the help that I could not find on this forum from any official Teamspeak spokesperson.

    Yes we do read the posts in here but i have no satisfying answer yet.
    We are still investigating and but it seems not all locations are effected.

    OK, now appears to be working. Any plan to fix the backupaccounting2 server (dns record, maybe more) so that there is a working backup server as the code was clearly programmed to expect to find since the primary has been acting up a couple times this week and has had an impact on service for those that host or use servers for work (paying users)?

    I'm sure I read somewhere on this forum (possibly posted by dante) that backupaccounting2 doesn't even exist, so why the server software is set to poll it I've no idea

    p.s. no errors for a few hours so I hope you're right

    NFO Servers down

    I lease my TS from NFO Servers and we can't use our TS because of this. It has been going for over an hour and we have a lot of pissed off people because of it. Please fix this right away or you might lose another customer to discord

    Is this still an issue for your host? Can't they start their servers?

    Yes it was me saying that backup accounting 2 is not active. It's placeholder at this moment.
    And for this case it would have the same result if there was a backup server running.

    Our Admins and some devs are still working on the issue.

    Looks to be working now from my angle. Will keep watching it.

    What you guys need is one of those monitoring services where they ping it from a couple dozen DCs around the world and alert you if it does not respond with expected data. Totally worth whatever it costs given how disruptive this is to all server owners.

    That post makes no sense at all. Just conincidence.

    I for example didn't have issues with TeamSpeak since I sowed mustard plants in my garden in September. Still I'm not suggesting people to buy mustard seeds.

    The fix was that our admins fixed our services.
    We do not suggest to follow these self made steps.
