Hello!
I want to create a teamspeak server. I download the client and server. But how can I create a server on mac?
One virtual server is created automatically on start on port 9987.
Fastest way:
- Extract the server package.
- Run the server binary in terminal (Please read what is printed in there on first start).
- Open the port 9987 UDP in case people from outside should connect.
Hint: in server package is a a doc folder with help files. server_quickstart.txt is at least the one you should read if you want to know more.

The server told you to create a file and the name is different.
After you did read LICENSE you can start the server with command ./ts3server license_accepted=1Code:Alternatively, create a file named ".ts3server_license_accepted" in the working directory or start the server with the command line parameter "license_accepted=1".
or you just create the file named .ts3server_license_accepted

So if i create a file named ".ts3server_license_accepted " the server will start and run? How can i create tgis file?
Change into server folder and run command touch .ts3server_license_accepted
or open TextEdit and create a new text file and save it in server folder. There you can rename the file.
You may inform yourself about the operation system you are using.

What do you mean with 9987 UDP?
In your router and/or firewall you have to open this port for UDP or else nobody outside your network can connect to your server.
You may read fowling for a detailed answer about ports http://setuprouter.com/networking/what-is-a-port/

I cant understand, i open that port and?
Nothing else.
You or someone else can use the client and connect to the server by entering the right IP or address.
You use your local IP (mostly 127.0.0.1) and people in your LAN use your LAN IP to connect and people from outside your network use the external IP you have (http://www.whatsmyip.org/)

Ok.
Can you write all steps?
Install the client.
Start the client.
Select Connections -> Connect.
In first line enter the IP.
Fill in a Nickname in second line.
Press the Connect button.
Now you can select Bookmarks -> Add to Bookmarks and next time you can connect with the Bookmarks tab.

Consider to rent a server from an official host if you still could not start the server.
