Hi, when i install the 3.8.0 (Linux Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS 64-bit)
https://gyazo.com/07ca90835ac08c32f854ccdf798dccc4
it doesn't give me the 1st key for the server admin and the psw for the server admin query
It starts the TS3 server only...
Why?

Finally fixed high load packet loss problem.
Just tried to update it from 3.7.0 to 3.8.0 on windows, and Seems to start but logs are just telling that virtual servers are listening on port X. But cant connect to the server, doesn't matter what client version I use (3.3.0 or previous). Aparently the logs folder on windows is not empty, but no relevant info.
Starting the previous version works, so is not a networking problem.
I have a buddy who likes to run servers, and I'm trying to convince him that Debian is better than windows for a teamspeak server. It's not going well, however.
He lives 2 hours away, and I just spent a couple of days at his place trying to set up a Debian teamspeak server on a very small barebone minipc called a Fit-PC3. I followed
this tutorial here
mostly, without the parts regarding the VPN. I downloaded the Linux amd64 version of the server and renamed it to TS3Server.bz2 to make installation from the terminal simpler. I then copied that file to the /home/teamspeak/ folder for the teamspeak user and ran the tar command to extract it. I then renamed the extracted folder and navigated into it and ranas that tutorial indicates, at which point something happens but it doesn't tell me what. Then I run the server withCode:touch .ts3server_licence_acceptedat which point it saysCode:./ts3server_startscript.sh startor something to that effect. But it does not provide a token for admin access and I can't find whatever log file it's referring to.Code:Starting the teamspeak 3 server. teamspeak 3 server started. For details read the log file.

Did I forget something to do?
I updated my teamspeak server with my script:
Code:TS_SERVER_VERSION=3.8.0 systemctl stop ts3server cd /tmp wget https://files.teamspeak-services.com/releases/server/$TS_SERVER_VERSION/teamspeak3-server_linux_amd64-$TS_SERVER_VERSION.tar.bz2 tar -xjf teamspeak3-server_linux_amd64-$TS_SERVER_VERSION.tar.bz2 -C /usr/local/bin/ rm teamspeak3-server_linux_amd64-$TS_SERVER_VERSION.tar.bz2 cd ~ systemctl start ts3server systemctl status ts3server

I am still not able to start the latest version. And I don`t think I am doing something wrong or differently than before.
Please have a look at the log of the process of installing and trying to start.
Would be nice to get a response![]()

I've notice new TS5 features been added to server version 3.7 and 3.8.
For a development point of view this is a very bad idea.
Let v3 continue getting updates without meshing of features with v5.
And v5 development should be on it's own branch.
Once TS5 is out, release a new server v5 with all the new features.
I'm keeping my server on v3.6 until you guys sort this out.
Cheers
