    An user crashed my server?

    Specs for beggining.

    Machine is VPS

    OS: Centos 7
    CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1230 v5 3.40GHz
    RAM: 6G
    SWAP: 6G
    TeamSpeak server version: 3.6.1

There is story. As my users told me, before crash an random guy joined (his ip removedand starts adversting his server with words ("this server is about to close, new ip is removed") after that, my TS server stoped work.

Because of someone who thought that default loging would be good without full info for TS server, i dont have any useful information. Exept what i can get from my atop logs and info what i actually said up. Crash dump was created at 20:19:05 (GMT +3) by info from atop logs at 20:19:01 (GMT +3) server was still alive.

He was not an admin, and we not have any privelege keys for server admins for allow them get admin status.

    There is dump file.

Please update your server to latest version. Using and old version is always risky.

Well yeah, but its not an answer, can TS team read that dump file, and get how that user crash my server, i think its good for both sides... Also moderator hide that guy server ip what he adversting but i can repeat if needed, i thought u should check it and remove their teamspeak server from public list, or if possible ban working TS on their server.

We already fixed a related crash. So there is no reason to look into old crash dumps.
Old bugs get abused and the only way to solve that is the updated version.

I removed the IP to protect the owner of that server.
Nobody can approve that the person who owns the server was the same person doing this.
It could be anyone with the knowledge and the IP could be our public test server.

What I missed is the personal IP from that user.
