I thought maybe it would work without having to change anything but it does not. I can hear people through the earbuds but the app is still using my phone as a microphone. I turned on bluetooth in the app and it lowered the sound quality greatly and made me sound like i'm in a wind tunnel. Anyone have a fix for this?

You can do this if your galaxy buds does even have intergrated microphones.
Choose your galaxy buds at options/settings under the capture device.
Navigation: Tools > Options > Capture > Capture Device > Choose your device (e.g. galaxy buds)

I think there is no chance to increase the sound quality of any bluetooth headphones for mobiles because they decrease the quality when the microfone gets activated to safe bandwidth.
I also have these "issue" with my AirPods under Android and Winsows.

If you're trying it on an android device then connect your earbuds/airpods to your phone, then it should choose them automatically.
Otherwise you'll have to check it under your settings or with an special app

Like he wrote in his Post it works but the audio quality is not good. He has no problems to connect his earbuds.

I'm just thinking that his earbuds didn't connect well so it gave some problems with the bluebooth voice communucation, that's why he should configure it in his android settings.
Otherwhise, he can try to configure this in his teamspeak 3 android options.
