Transport setting from Windows Xp to Linux Mint (sonya)

    Hi there,
I am using TS 3 in windows Xp as administrator and I would like to use it in Linux Mint too. The question is if I can import folders where are stored passwords, users and other thing without setting everything from scratch and which are these folders.

    Thanks

It is recommended to use myTeamSpeak. That does not sync contacts right now, but may do in the future.

You can also sync (or symlink) the settings folder. Under Windows, this is %APPDATA%\TS3Client (under XP, it might also be located in the program directory in a folder named config I think). I don't know for linux but it should be easy to find out.

The best and supported way is to use the MyTeamSpeak's sync feature. But as Numma said not everything is synced and need to be setup again.

These are the paths where every setting, chat etc, is stored in:
Under XP the path was %appdata%\TS3Client or C:\Programs\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config
Under Linux the config path is home\<username>\.ts3client

You may remove the plugins folder since they will not run on linux.

Sorry if I continue this post, but the same question and the solution you have suggested is also valid if I want to import these folders for windows 10??
