Wow so basically my hosted server is doomed as we do not have global chat anymore. Well done bravo.DO I HAVE TO HOST MY SERVER WITH TEAMSPEAK?
No.
Again, one of the most loved features of TeamSpeak is the ability of our users to host their own servers, wherever and however they like. This feature has not been removed, we are simply creating a better user experience by allowing servers to be setup from within the client.
In addition to an improved user experience, this also enables us to provide our users with a FREE voice server each.
Self hosted servers do not include our global chat services.
How does it help us with our teamspeak communities now eh?
What does "TeamSpeak now comes complete with a FREE, TeamSpeak server. For everyone." mean?
Every user gets a full featured, full functionality, hosted TS server?
How many slots?
it's here!!!!
When will the new Plugin SDK be available?
Will it released in closed beta or later when the Client is released?
BTW: People who already received their beta key report that they cannot login into their beta account.
The Website just states: Logging in...

Q1) Uhmm so my next question is, what is the slot limit for the global chat. How many users (I believe this chat will include both offline/online users) are permitted to use this chat at once?
Q2) Global chat entry: Am i supposed to invite all users who are using teamspeak 5 to the global chat? This supposedly means that I cannot add a compulsion to the teamspeak 5 client users who join my community that they have to use this feature without any choice.
As per the new.teamspeak.com site it states 4 slots for normal times and 10 slots for beta users. What does "TeamSpeak now comes complete with a FREE, TeamSpeak server. For everyone." mean?
Every user gets a full featured, full functionality, hosted TS server?
How many slots?
Did you get the beta code?
I hope that the users who have registered early for the beta are also the first ones getting beta access. I really hope the queue is not random.
And maybe they also will prioritise MyTeamspeak early adopters, addon developers, active forum users and people who are hosting their own community / public servers. Because i think beta feedback is most valuable from them.
