TS5 discussion continues

After some testing the new client i am having the same problem as with Discord. The GUI is terrible, the TS3 client was clean and simple. This new look is not at all user friendly. I am sad to say if this will roll out as the main version and TS3 will become obsolete our whole community will migrate to some other Voice-Chat client. The main reason we started using TS2/3 was bc, it was easy to use for newbies, easy to maintain and lightweight.

I do hope that TS5 will become more like the old version or will have the option to switch to the old theme and layout as it was light and clear. It wold be sad for us to have to change to some other Voice-chat.

Sorry, I don't know if it is a know issue, but if you changed user's volume, that adjustment will not be saved after restarting the app.

Does TS5 Client already have the option "Close to Tray"?
If so, where exactly? Maybe I'm blind but I haven't found this option yet.

ts3 will not become obsolete becouse they still will be further developed
so that the user can decide which one to use
ts5 and ts3 use same server and compatible
ts5 has enhanced ui and more function

Almost a month without updates, I though ts5 would update every week at least so we could check the new features.

There is too much difference in mic volume TS5 mic volume is lower than TS3 and its annoying for users. I gave beta keys to my friends they just don't want to use TS5 because of this issue. and on TS3 their voice are perfect.

Please fix this issue.

That is not a bug. That's indeed intended.
AGC (Automatic Gain Control) is now on playback and no longer on Input.
The mic volume is now how your operation system / driver sends it to the client and the client no longer.

To get the same result as before user need TS5 or the TS3 3.5.0 Beta.

Nope. The next update will primarily focus on performance improvements and bug fixes (it's still a big update tho). We are aware that permissions are a thing and we'll add the functionality asap. It's a big thing and we want to get the UX right. Please be patient young padawan.
