How to move Teamspeak from old version to new?

How can i move teamspeak design and permissions system from old 3.5.1 server version to new teamspeak 3.9.1. I try to copy files folder and ts3server.sqlitedb but when i do that i can't connect to teamspeak. Can anyone help me? I would be very grateful. Thanks <3

Sounds like you copied too many files from the old 3.5.1 on top of a clean 3.9.1 extract, if I'm correct that will not work. There are sql files and other things that are updated with 3.9.1 that you maybe overwriting with older versions that prevent it from working. You need to extract the 3.9.1 onto the 3.5.1 program folder, of course after you've made a backup.
