[Privacy Concern] Teamspeak 3: Displaying Idle Time

Please remove the public display of idle time in the client connection info dialog box.

This is a huge privacy concern. Stalkers using this to tell if someone is away or not.
At least give me an option to allow people to view it or not.

    It's very creepy.

    Thank you for your consideration.

Hello I do not see any privacy problem no personal data on the user is present except the IP address, I use this feature very regularly with a small server that allows me to free up space when some people do not do not disconnect after several days use. There would not be this feature, I will not eject to free the slots.

I think what he says is that you can hide the idle-time in front of other users and only ppl with rights can look at it, such as IP addresses.
For example when you write to someone briefly, it will reset your idle, and sometimes people annoy you with the question "why are you still there".

But in my opinion this is not a huge privacy concern.

I don't really see how the idle time can tell if someone is away.
For example, on my server it's very common that people are online, but just idling muted in their channels
until a friend comes along and they talk a bit.

The idle time starts counting as soon as you stop any interaction with the server, so even as soon as
you stop talking, the idle time starts counting.

I would prefer not to change it, but if in doubt, at least make it a special permission, like the IP address.
It is a feature heavily used by bots.

a person who has not spoken for more than 12 hours has nothing to do on my server which he gives off that answers your question.

it takes me room for nothing

That wasn't a question, and you missed my point.
My point was, there is no telling if a person left the pc just by their idle time.
Some people disconnect when they are afk longer than an hour, some stay for 2 days (How you handle your server is your thing). There is no telling.

In that matter I actually believe (back to the stalker topic) a client disconnecting gives away more information than the idle time.

(Plus, I think that a client can stay on the server as long as he wants, as long as the server is not full. But thats off-topic.)
