Why is this still not possible?

    Hello world

First I want to say, I'm realy happy with TS3 for years now.
But it's realy sad, that there is still no way make two things possible in TS which is requestet multible times over the years from 100s of admins.

    1. Create "Group A" and "Group B" in Server Groups. Now let Group A only join Channel Tree A, X, Y and Z and let Group B only join Channel Tree B, X, Y, Z.

    2. If someone is the Channel Admin of one Channel, he can't skip the channel password request, even if the right to do so is set.

These are realy basic server rights and would also be realy easy to implement. But still after so many years this isn't possible.

If you know a way just tell me.

Are you really sure about that? it's working fine...
Make sure to give those permissions into the channel admin group:

    Code:
    b_channel_join_permanent
    b_channel_join_ignore_password
Note: the channel admin is only able to bypass the password into the channel where the channel admin group is also assigned.

Server groups have a hierachy. Doing something that is not based on a hierachy is not possible with server groups.
What you are trying to do is using server groups as channel groups.
