The client closes normally, then it comes up to 2% and then it stops with this error code.

I just updated my client without any problem.

After update i make echo noises if someone talk.
Tested remove background noises disabled/enabled and echo reduction 10db.
Fix it.

For what exactly is the "Comfort noise" ? Its just a annoying sound at the moment

That highly depends on the person actually. Some people like it if there is noise with a pattern, like waves, wind, etc..
Some may not like but, but some may.
I guess it will be configurable in the future.

I'd like to express my concerns about the fact that Automatic Voice Gain Control option from the Capture settings is gone in this beta release. My colleagues and I consider it an extremely important feature, since it allows for our mic volumes to be adjusted accordingly and automatically, especially when one of us gets louder than the others. Would someone be kind enough to tell me why this option is no more and whether this release being in BETA has anything to do with it? Thanks so much!

I´m surprised you all have such sound problems. 3.5.0 runs without any problems for me and my friends (well only for those where the updater was nice and worked). What audio settings do you have in the options? Any plugins that have something to do with mic input?

You do realize that errors can happen? Theres like dozen of combinations between hardware and operation systems and configurations.
You can bet it wasnt planned that it might happen for some guys.

Try to deactivate Echo Cancellation if you have both on -> Echo Cancellation and remove background noises.

I can totally agree, I would like to see this option back.
