Selfhosted global chat

So, new Teamspeak is great I really love it.
But I was kinda sad when I read that global chat is not available for selfhosted servers.
Is it temporary or won't be implemented at all?
It would be great because that was the only thing that I really want in Teamspeak.

Global chat is MyTeamSpeak chat, it's available when connected to self hosted servers.

If you mean text only channels on a server they haven't implemented that and it's not clear if they will.

Yes because the content on the beta site is not 100% correct. You can use global chat everywhere you want to, it´s not bound to servers.The only requirement is a myTeamSpeak account.

What an odd feature. I don't understand the point of Global Chat. You have contacts and or you could join servers simultaneously you want to converse in. Pff if this is the best TeamSpeak can do then it's in serious trouble.

Global chat is a group chat where you can invite your contacts.

I misunderstood then. Is it similar to a group chat for your friends as you would find on Discord with voice call and all?

It currently doesn't have voice calling, I doubt it will either.
