We are migrating towards a new forum system located at community.teamspeak.com, as such this forum will become read-only on January 29, 2020
the title says it all
You open the TS5 client and click into the search bar OR Open the Options.
There you select About.
At top to the right you see a Report Issue button.
This is what you use.
When sending me private messages: Please make sure to include reference link to your forum thread or post.
TeamSpeak FAQ || What should i report, when i open a client thread?
This seems like a really clunky way of tracking bugs, just by sending an email with no information asking about the system.
Would be nice to have at least a forum or actual bug tracker system.
I agree - The current system is very lackluster and makes it more difficult to track down specific issues that are caused by certain hard-/software constellations.
In addition to that I feel like it is not good practice to let your support-staff (which seem to be the ones receiving the issue reports, which is totally fine btw.) collect suggestions as well.
A separate forum would be very nice so we can discuss feature proposals, design suggestions and so on with the community and with TS-staff directly. Features that receive a lot of backing by the community or TS-staff could be put up in a poll so everyone can vote for the features or changes they deem "critical to implement/fix".
Prioritizing your internal issues & creating a public (or "semi-public" e.g. only for beta testers) roadmap should become a whole load easier by doing so.
But that's just my 50ct ^^
