How am I supposed to run TS5?
With ./path/to/binary/binary
Note you have to replace it with a valid path to client folder and add TeamSpeak for the binary.

You may learn how to use your operation system when my first reply did not help you :/
In your case that command (run in terminal) should work.
Code:./teamspeak-client/TeamSpeak

But that the command when client is installed the folder you mentioned before.
Make sure the path is right and terminal opens in your home folder already.

I also asked two other friends who use Linux for years and also they couldn't help me. TS5 just don't work.
Also the most .tar.gz files has a README file for how to install that program but in TS5 there isn't a README file. So I was confused at first.
./TeamSpeak in Terminal says "Illegal instruction (core dumped)".

What distro & ver are you using?
I had this error on every distro I used. Deepin, Ubuntu, Linux Mint etc..Operating System: Manjaro Linux (KDE)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64.0
Qt Version: 5.13.2
Kernel Version: 5.3.12-1-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 6 × AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor
Memory: 7,8 GiB
Your CPU reveals the problem. We think the missing SSE4 support is the problem.
We are still evaluating this.
Could anyone with the Phenom II CPU please test if the TS3 client 3.5.0 beta works?

Your are not using our official client package so updater won't work.
