My security level was 10, I increased it to 22 and now I can't lower it.
Will I be doing something wrong? I do not see the option.
Creating a new credential would be the only way.

That's intended. There is absolutely no reason to lower it again.

Hi. This is not possible. But, why u want to downgrade it? Just create a new id. than you have a smaller sec.lvl. In my opinion this security level it's a good anti-troll system, but thats it.
