Will TS3 ever be ready ?

Don´t take this the wrong way, its not a complaint. I am proudly using TS for several years now and I still think its the best for gaming but when I read sometimes here the little news you post on the Site, that TS3 will be in AA3 and that you´re joining the GDC and all.

How about first finally releasing TS3 so everyone can have it and then take care of these things. I am not greedy, but I just think the development of TS3 is kinda like Duke Nukem Forever by now. Maybe not as long, but there is also not really hope for more as far as I see.

A public Beta test would be nice so people could at least see more detailed what they´re waiting for since a long, long, long time.

Please don´t see my posting as rant, it is not. Just see it from one impatient TS Fan that would love to see the new Version before he might not plays / uses TS anymore at all. We´re not going to get younger.

I am sure thats also what they said about DNF.

There are plenty of threads about this very topic. You can search vaporware or just ts3 and you'll see all the arguments for and against it. You can even browse through the trash forum and see plenty. Everything is about time. No need to release TS3 if it's not ready. I'd rather spend the time twiddling my thumbs waiting for it then get it early riddled with bugs.

from looking at the developer blog, im not impressed with TS3 features at this point
the decreased latency is useful but the file-share is a bit redundant (im sure most of us have either Kazaa, Limewire, or Bit-Torrent)

i'll stick with TS2 even when TS3 is released
