Verify in ServerAdmin group, if the permission b_group_is_permanent is enabled?

1- When you have the Server Admin powers
    2- Settings > Options > Application > Misc > ... check box "Advanced permissions system" > OK
3- Permissions > Server Groups > ...select your server group > Group > ... check box value "b_group_is_permanent"

Difficulties with "Channel Groups of Client"

I have a user that I keep assigning a Channel Group to in the "Channel Groups if Client" window. My problem is whenever he leaves and rejoins the server, even though his name/unique id and everything is exactly the same... He loses the channel groups I previously assigned to him.

I don't have anymore Guinea pigs to test this on, but I don't think this is a just him error.

This Channel Group, needs the next permission enabled:
    b_group_is_permanent

    Question

    Hallo.

First i have ti say, that my english is not very well and i hope you understand what my problem is.

Ive setup many virtual-server and all works fine. So, only one is a bad boy. If i create a SA Token and use it and leave the server and come back to it, iam a normal guest without the SA rights. The Token is not available again.

So, i dont understand the reason and hope that some one have any ideas to fix it.

    Some greeting from Germany,

    Christoph

Server groups being wiped every day

I have several server groups that I've set up for various people to have various permissions, but the groups are cleared every night. I have no idea why this is happening. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT to clarify: the groups stay, it's the users in each group that are being cleared.

Are you sure that the groups are permanent at all?
You can test it with a simple reconnect to the server.

OR Check the permission b_group_is_permanent for target groups.

Looks like that wasn't set. The group itself stays on the server, its users are just cleared (sorry if that was unclear). Is this the setting that will fix that?

Yes without b_group_is_permanent all users will be removed from the group once they disconnect.
