I just came here to report that I was having quite interesting issues with audio quality when the server was being hosted inside one of our virtualized development environments (namely, VMware Server with Debian-testing guest), that is -- randomly people were getting the robotic voice of doom and other reliability issues. From experience, I assume this has something to do with TS3s dependence on a system timer that is decidedly unstable under this environment. I'll test it later on VMware ESXi, but I imagine I'm going to have similar problems.

All audio-related issues were resolved when I moved it to a non-virtual box in our cluster. A little bit of a let down, but I understand the sensitivity of VoIP applications and timing.

Anyone else observe this under any other virtualized envrionment say, Citrix XenServer?
