    [outdated] Mysql access error

    Edit by mod
Please don't use this outdated script anymore! The script got an overhaul long time ago.
Please use the minimal or startscript instead

I tried running a teamspeak 3 server today but i get this:

    James:/home/ts3/ts3b2# ./ts3server_linux_amd64 inifile=ts3server.ini
    Logging Started

    Segmentation fault
    James:/home/ts3/ts3b2#

My password in nano ts3db_mysql.ini is my sql password but still says its not using it / allowing it

    Also i have tried doing:
    mount -t tmpfs tmpfs /dev/shm

and then redoing the start and had same problem

    Please help

    Yes, looks fine to me.
Open the T3 client and conntect to 69.162.121.7 with port 9987
hopefully you noted down the token when you started the server, as you'll need it to get admin rights on the server.

The 1st token should have been written to the logfile. So just open the first generated logfile and scan for the line "VirtualServer Warning ServerAdmin token created, please use the line below".

However, if you did not write down the serveradmin password that has only been written to the command line during installation, then there is no easy way to restore that password (at least not that I am aware of). Re-installing the server would give you a second chance to note the (new) password.
