Globally the quota is set by editing your virtual server settings.

How would you disable the quota requirement? I have a channel that I have not set any quota permission and users cannot transfer files. If I set a quota on the channel it allows it. I would like to just disable the quota for this channel altogether. Any ideas?

Open channel permissions and set Quotafor Up- and Download to -1. Everybody who's in that channel can upload and download as much they like.

We cannot seem to be able to allow unlimited downloads/uploads
channel permissions for transfer quotas are set at -1 -1 yet it still wont work

however, when I select edit virtual server, and go into manage virtual server, the upload and download quota is set to 50meg, and is not an editable field..

I have tried the suggested fix but it didnt help.

    Ideas anyone?

I think your hoster won't allow you to upload more then 50mb.
