If the server is added to the bookmarks then do this.

    1) Press CTRL+B (Bookmarks)
    2) Click on the bookmark to the server
    3) Click more
    4) On right: Capture Profile=Default & Playback Profile=Default
    5) Click apply.
    6) Try rejoining.

Hope this helps. Also, make sure the user checks the microphone button on the toolbar.

I'm having the same problem but with Vista64. I have tried the "Run as Administrator" suggestion. I am using a Realtek HD sound card.

    Any thoughts?

Are there any permissions that can cause "Microphone Disabled" on a user?

One of the users on my server has "Microphone Disabled" flagged on him. The option for "Activate Microphone" is greyed out, but he is capable of communicating on other TeamSpeak servers. This makes it seem like a permissions issue, but can permissions really do this?

Nevermind, he's an idiot and set the wrong capture profile on his bookmark:
