[Ideas] For plugin devs with lack of ideas.

I searched some and tried to find a topic which collected peoples ideas/requested plugins but without luck.

Here's some of the plugins I'd love since the release of beta:

    ChannelInfoTooltip
Basically shows the channel info in a tooltip instead of the right column, making layouting easier/cleaner.

    FileBrowserColumn
Like the list of channels, channel/codec info, chat windows etc. This would work as a external type of that window to show current files in that channel (based on the user(s) permissions of course.)

    G15 for Linux (g15daemon)
Well, basically the same functions that windows (and even mac?) users have that use G15.

    FileBrowserToolbarIcon
I think the name itself should explain it all.

If there's a thread like this already, please give me the link so admins can delete this thread - If there is none, collect all ideas in this thread to make it easy to find for plugin developers with lack of ideas.

Given the IRC like chat we now have at the bottom of TS3.

How about a plugin that allows for people on the web to connect JUST to the text chat, I am thinking website integration here, my site members could have a small shout box style chat windo that operates in TS3 chat.

then people without a mic on the site or with no TS 3 installed can still text chat to those on the server, new people to the site could ask for help etc.

    Another Idea

Something like a LaTeX Plugin for the chat. Would be useful if you want to send a formula.

    The ultimate

The ultimate plugin would be an xfire integration where you could follow a user to whatever game server they are in. That would make this program complete.

I could try to make a plugin using this, and make it opensource, so one one should get law problems.

Edit: I mean that "positional audio feature" stuff.

couldent the Dev's create the Plugins and make them GNU lisenced themselves, dont officially link it with teamspeak ( built in ) but just give it as the default bundle of plugins. unless plugins cant do this and it needs to be written into the program?

Andy did a nice job on that one Thank him, a only did some 'small' things.

About open source, i dont know, probably not, because our code will most likely get stolen by some people, who sell such plugins/tools.
