    licencekey.dat in Plain Text?

    Hey there
    I registered a non profit license and recieved the license key per mail.
    No problem so far.
    But the key in the mail is not an attachment, it is pasted in plain text like this:
    --PHP-alt-5aaebf1fac92cffcffc44f93734d03d2--

    --PHP-mixed-5aaebf1fac92cffcffc44f93734d03d2
    Content-Type: text/plain; name="licensekey.dat"
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
    Content-Disposition: attachment

    [typical crypted key string]

    --PHP-mixed-5aaebf1fac92cffcffc44f93734d03d2--

    I pasted the 17 lines of the crypted code to a new file I called licensekey.dat in my ts3 directory and restarted the server.
    Result:
    |WARNING |Accounting | | Unable to find valid license key, falling back to limited functionality

    Can you tell me how to get this "plain text license" working?

    Do you tried it with another mail client or directly with webmail?

    Yes, I tried different Clients.
    Result is allways the same:

    (I removed some lines of the lic code )

    --PHP-mixed-5aaebf1fac92cffcffc44f93734d03d2
    Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
    boundary="PHP-alt-5aaebf1fac92cffcffc44f93734d03d2"

    --PHP-alt-5aaebf1fac92cffcffc44f93734d03d2
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

    Conngratulations!

    In the ts3 folder I created a file licensekey.dat using VI and pasted the 17 lines of crypted code inside.
    Restarted ts3, doesn't work.

    Depending on which client you are using, you should check if an option like "view attachments within mailbody" or something similar is enabled. Regulary you should have a file called licensekey.dat.
    Just download this file as is and copy it to the ts3 folder.

    It is.

    All you need to do is copy to the server root...and restart the server

    @ OP: You need to get the file. Copying plain text from the email wont work.
