Is their a way to insert html into channels?

Is there a way that you can insert HTML into channels? Like for example if I wanted a channel on Teamspeak to have youtube videos in it? Not sure if it would take certain programming to allow something like that to work but wanted to ask.

You can use BB Code in the Channel description.

Okay, I use youtube BB codes in my forum. How would I set it up for teamspeak so I can display videos in channels using BB Code?

I agree with "Julian". Remember ts3 is a voice chat application. use a forum/blog to display your vids

Its also a file sharing app... so maybe they should remove that and let people use FTP programs.

well it may be unusual, but it would be an awsome feature. Sure forums are nice for that, but I use TS like 24/7 so having that for source of news n such works better then third party sources. Can't blame me for wanting more out of an application that is starting to give more lol

The problem here is that it will put more strain on the servers. Also, allowing HTML will allow evil minded persons to do quite some damage with malicious code, IF the server admins have been sloppy with the permissions.

And this WILL happen, since the permission system is quite complex. Very easy to forget to set a permission or two.

It may put more strain on the server, but that's up to the server host. If it's on a good server, why not? Are you saying with the plugin support you can implement BB/HTML codes on the server/client? Sorry new to this..

    Iframes on channels

Is anyone working on this or is a solution?
I need to add a Iframe, beside it will be cool to have it, this will give to the users the opportunity to stay in the TS3 and work without leaving and search the web for the information, notes or news.
