    Modal Message & Quit

    Server was running fine till I messed with settings.

    Im hoping I can undo it.

    I edited the 'Virtual Server', 'Host Messsage' 'Message Mode' to output a 'Modal Message & Quit'

    This is preventing users from entering the server as it forces a dissconnect, including me a server admin.

    How can I undo this, the server is a rented on so I do not have total access.

    How would they go about resetting it please, my host knows very little about the teamspeak 3 server.

    If I could give them the necessary information needed that would be a great help.

    Problem fixed by using a bit different method which i've thinked of.

    First of all thank you Tomas(cz,en) * Public TS3 Server / English FAQ Channel ) for helping me with this problem and that he bared to have patience with my lame speakers that i'm having at work atm

    As i've said my method is a bit different.

    Since i've still had an user connected on TS3 server I've thinked about giving ServerAdmin rights so he can change from Modal Message & Quit back to No Message and everyone could enter again.

    To obtain a new token just follow the below steps:

    WARNING: IF YOU ARE MAKING ANY MISTAKES IN TYPING YOU NEED TO START BACK ALL OVER AGAIN. The OS used Windows

    1. Go to START > RUN > and type -> telnet 127.0.0.1 10011

    2. type -> login serveradmin xxxxx ( where xxxx = your server password shown after installation )

    3. type -> use 1

    4. type -> tokenadd tokentype=0 tokenid1=6 tokenid2=0

    5. you should get a new token that you should copy and save it somewhere by giving it to the user still connected to your TS3 server

    Hope this will help somebody else aswell

    Thanks again

    You don't need to "use sid=..." if you operating on a top level (serveredit is one of the top level commands).
