    Codecs

I have a question about the codecs, we have some Member with DSL Light ,the upload is 16kb/s . When we use the Speex 32 khz then goes the ping up to 800-999, when we use Speex 16khz the same , when we set in Speex 16khz the Qualitiy down the Ping goes up to 300-400 and we cant understand us, while the bad quality!
Ping goes up or stays by Call of Duty 4
By TS2 we use Speex 16.3kbit and the ping stays stable and we can everyone understand! Were is the Different between the Codecs? Ah i forgot , in TS3 and set Speex 16khz low quality the upload is during speaking 5-6kb/s and in TS2 set to Speex 16.3 kbit the upload is 2-max 3 Kb/s?
We use the Teamspeak 2 ca. 5 Years and we are happy with this so we want to use the new Teamspeak but while the codec problem we must use furthermore the TS2.

so we will add a special
"high latency" codecs that are the same as the normal codecs, but only send
    10 sound packets per second
From the Link! and were can i found the "high latency" codecs? I tried with all codecs and with all the ping goes up.

Waiting for high latency codecs too.

Its the main reason why we did not switch from ventrilo yet.

Current codecs really mess up everything for our users with low bandwith.

Hopefully they will add them soon as atm people tend to think voice quality is crap compared to ventrilo but the actual problem is
we currently send 50 sound packets per second to achieve best latency, this
seems to be a problem with not so good connections, so we will add a special
"high latency" codecs that are the same as the normal codecs, but only send
10 sound packets per second. This will of course mean more latency, but less
bandwidth (packet overhead is saved) and hopefully a better service to those users
    with bad internet connections.
If all users have decent bandwidth quality is awesome but then you get few people with low bandwidth and its mess for everyone.

    music

Also if what you are saying about streaming music then i guess you'd be like a pirate radio station this should not be allowed.

My guess is that team speak should be allowed too recognise music & keep it blocked from anyone transmitting it.

Whats going on? Since start from the beta every day comes a new beta but since 31.12.09 comes nothing? Whats with implementing the "high latency" codecs?

At least low bandwidth codecs are common requested feature. We also can´t use TS3 before they are implemented.
