when you let them add sub-channels, you need to let them create channel with codec 16 Kgz or 32 Kgz, ned to let him create permanent, semi ermanent and temporary custom codec quality and the max channel creation depth, otherwise you will find a error and the problem might be there.

well if grant someone CA in parent channel and you didnt broke the Inherite permissions then in all childs he is CA by default. yes you can revoke him one of the channels or grant him some specific channel.

what are you talking about is not possible.
expect if he is in some servergroup which have permissions to move.

Okay so. Client is in 2 server groups:

UF| Member (Gives him access to basic things like join, move users, etc.)
UF| Staff (Gives him the \S/ Logo and a few admin abilities like kick, but NO channel manipulation)

Then, each staff member shall have an office. In their Office, they have the channel group Office Owner (Gives them \O/ Logo and the ability the edit the Password, Description, and Max Users of their office channel).

BUT, when in their office, these members can edit those settings on ANY channel in the ENTIRE virtual server. This is not right.

I also granted the office owner group rights to create sub-channels as a test, and they can in fact create sub-channels in channels that are not their own.

What should happen: Users who have channel groups have the channel group permissions only in the channel in which they are assigned that group, and it shouldn't matter whether they are in it or not in order to use those permissions. ie. A Staff member should be able to edit their office but NO other channels, regardless of which channel they are it.

Sadly, this is not the case.

    Exclamation New Tests

This is how i tested it now (all with default values or given like deactivate needed move power etc.)

Client 9 Server 13 (so please wait for next release)

    - Channel Admin is able to create Sub-Channels in other channels if "Create sub channel" is on.
not possible if this isn't channel admin inside another room

    - Channel Admin can move Guests all around the server if moving is enabled and Guest needed_cliend_move_power is not set
thats normal if you remove needed move power, everyone is able to move

    - Channel Admin can kick Guests from server if kicking and moving are enabled. (it is not possible to kick from channel only)
    WIP

    - op can edit other channel were they are in channel group guest only
tested this with Server Beta13 (wait for release)

    1. We changed some things for next server release
    2. Maybe to many permissions are set wrong on your server

When can we expect this release?

    With Server v12:

    Server Group: Test Group
    NO PERMISSIONS

    Channel Group: Test Group
Edit a Channels Description = True

The client can edit any channel's description when inside that channel. (Improper behaviour.)
