Tried running it as administrator, uninstalled then re-installed and restarted computer and nothing. The problem is, I run it and no window pops up. It's like it's minimized even when it isn't minimized. It shows on my taskbar but the window doesn't pop up if I click on the icon. Haven't changed anything but last night it just started randomly doing this.

    Can anyone help? ._.

This error appears, when the client can't open ports on client start.
Please check that your firewall does not block our client. Disbale it for testing.

    Edit
Maybe all available ports are in use.
    - Check your computer with an anti virus tool
    - close your torrent tools for testing

Or you've got a security tool installed, that detects our client as a virus.

Can't open teamspeak due to taskbar bug

I double click teamspeak 3 to open it up and the logo appears in my taskbar and whenever I go to double click on it to open it up, it disappears instantly. I ran CCleaner and fixed registry problems, but I can't seem to fix this problem, I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times as well. I am also running windows xp if that will help with finding out the solution to my problem.

Teamspeak Starting minimized. Will not open program window.

I have the same problem as many. First off... I have Windows 7 Professional 64bit installed and when I load Teamspeak 3, the program starts minimized and it loads a tab on the task bar. Unfortunately, when I click on the tab to maximize the window... it closes. The active program icon is still there by the date and time. I just cannot get the program window to open at all. Client window doesn't show up

I'm running 32 bit Windows XP and till now everything was okay, but now after I click the icon nothing happens. I checked Windows Task Manager and it says that ts3client_win32.exe is running and greedily eating up my CPU, if I click more on the icon more processes just show up.

We are sorry for everyone, who got that problem.
We or one of our pre testers could never reproduce the problem. This makes it hard to find and fix a problem.

TS3 Will Not Open/Start/Not in Tray

Recently my TS stopped opening, it doesn't show in tray, it doesn't come up in the bar where all other icons are. One interesting thing I've found is, I have Task Manager open when I click on Teamspeak, It comes up in the list of processes for about 10 seconds and stays at around 10,000k. I have read other places that if you have a multi-screen display, sometimes it disappears to the other screen. I do not have a multi screen display. I have tried re-installing TS3 multiple times, I have tried to close other programs that might have a incompatibility issue with Teamspeak, yet no luck

    Edit: Sorry, I am on 64-bit Windows 7. TS3 Version = 3.0.16

I will keep you updated if I find a fix.

So no-one in the TS3 community has the same problem? If no one is replying because of "Lack of information", please read the whole of the OP. Or no one is willing to help me out.

We are unable to offer real soloutions for this. That's the point.
Others did have the same problem but also no soloution.

It's hard to say why this happens, when nothing is printed in the client log or the GUI not even starts.
We think it did crash already, when it only shows up in the Tray for some seconds, but this still does not explain why it does crash.

    Possible reasons could be:
    • Installation is broken or maybe just QT or DLL files are broken
A re-download of the installer and a new installation could help
    • Maybe the config db did broke on first start
      Find/Delete settings.db and ts3clientui_qt.secrets.conf
      Possible path for the files
      Code:
      %appdata%\Roaming\TS3client
      C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config
      C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config
    • You did not install all important Windows updates.
    • Graphic/Soundcard cards driver are outdated or broken
    • Antivirus or Spyware or Firewall prevents a start
Example where F Secure was the problem
    • Other software stan ds in conflict with QT or our files that are loaded on start
    • Some Hardware like RAM could be broken
    • Or maybe your computer is infected with something
    • Maybe your Visual C++ Redistributable Package wasn't installed probally.
      Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (32-bit)
      or Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (64-bit)

I'm sure there are more possible reasons
But we don't really know why this happens and this is why we do not have fix for this.

I've figured out my issue! All I had to do was install every update in Windows Update (only 186 of them).
