FeatureReq: Set Server Banner like set Avatar

I'd like to see the possibility to host the server banner via the ts3server itself.

There is already the possibility to host the user avatars on the server, Why not adapt that feature a bit and also use it for the server banner too?

For us it was not a big trouble to host the banner somewhere but it would be nice to keep all files that belong to the server at one place.

    Edit:
Also it would be nice to have an option to align the banner. For e.g. left|center|right

I think he wants to have the banner in TS directly instead of hosting it on a webserver.

yep, this way you you would not have to set up a HTTP server in case you don't have one or upload it to some 3rd party server.

I Have my own banner in TS3 :P very simple to do.

Edit Virtual Server, then type in your http link in first line for Banner

then your next line is same but with your graphics logo.jpg or gif

Apply that and you shoud have your personal banner.

I can take a pic of mine if you wanted me too email it too you too show you.

I don't think that's what he means. He means to be able to upload the banner the same way you upload an avatar, just by selecting the image through teamspeak instead of having to ftp the image to a website, then copying the link and putting it in your server settings and so on.

Thanks for all the offer to help to setup the banner. In fact we have it running already.

I just thought it would make the life of some TS3 admins easier if it would be uploadable like an avatar. Just think about a rented TS3 server.

You can't add the server to avatar but why not add servers to the Channel Descriptions like we have on our TS

The Arma 3 channel has this in the description and as far as I know it tracks accurately
