First Chat Tab & General Chat Tab Suggestion

The first Chat Tab in every server is named after the server.

sometimes this will bring up a very large and odd tab.

maybe just name the first tab "Global Chat" or "Server Chat" or something like this?

Or give the user a option in the Virtual Server Edit, to rename this Chat Tab.

Another cool feature would be if it would be possible to "drag" the chat tab out of the client as a "extra" window. As multi Monitor user you can easly chat on the mainscreen with a chatwindow, while the main TS3 Window is all the way at the other side of the second or third monitor.

    Greetings

I personally wouldn't like an extra window that could easily get lost with the rest... I'd rather have the possibility to at least move it around in the main window... and also be able to show/hide the server/channel infos window when desired.

You got a point, but isn't the real problem that server owners choose awkward server names?

Maybe, it would be better to have a maximum display length for tab titles.

Also, the naming of server and chat tabs is inconsistent. While server tabs use the bookmark name (if any), the "global" chat tab uses the server name as configured by the server owner.

I think even worse is the fact that control codes such as [spacer] are not stripped. While this is "technically correct", it looks horrible. The entire concept of putting "spacer" markup in the channel name is weird. Why isn't this a setting like all the other channel related "meta data"?

You might want to take a look at the DockWidget plugin on GitHub.
