    Teamspeak 3 talk

I was messing around with settings trying to add the query permission but it kept giving me a error "<20:30:50> insufficient client permissions (failed on b_client_issue_client_query_command (20626/0x5092))" then i added the b_client_is_priority_speaker and now everyone has a microphone to their name and i can not remove it, keeps giving me this error "<20:37:40> insufficient permission modify power"

any way i can remove the microphone thing next to everyone's name?

You must have removed your own Grant Permission for that one. Use serveradmin with ServerQuery to restore it.

Unless you were actually editing the Admin Server Query (2) Server Group, the serveradmin account will ALWAYS have access to ServerQuery.

Even if you did screw with group 2, you could still hack the database to restore it.

i had gameservers just reinstall the teamspeak server
I am added as Server Admin, i make a query login but when i try to connect to it
<17:53:34> insufficient client permissions (failed on b_client_issue_client_query_command (20626/0x5092))

Why? this is really starting to get frustrating..

Maybe because you don't have permission to use ServerQuery?

It could very well be designed that way, ask GameServers if you're supposed to have access.

if he is leasing a virtual server, i would say no serveradmin query permission.

I apologize for not stating that this is a rented server, So i will not be able to log into the query since it is rented?

You will NOT be able to log in as the serveradmin account.

You MAY be able to log in as your own account, you will have to ask your server provider if this is possible. However, it won't solve your problem, since your GUI permissions and your ServerQuery permissions will be the same.

Alright well thanks for all the help guys. I am really happy what they have done so far with it. Permissions are a bit complex but once you mess around when them you begin to understand it.

if the host has an IT that knows the serverquery or knows how to edit the database they can reset that permission.
