    insufficient permission modify power

    HI guys,
    I am a Server Admin on my groups TS3 and when i was making another server group a insufficient permission modify power came up in TS3 and when i went to fine it there is nothing by Server Admin with that permission modify power and when i try to add the permission back to the server admin i keep getting the same error. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi

    Have you removed the grant value from the "i_permission_modify_power" of the Server Admin group? If not, make sure you belong to that group, and try to set the permission value to 75 again (default).

    If you removed the grant permission, you will have to login as serveradmin in the Server Query window and set the permission back. You will have to type something like this:
    login serveradmin password
    use sid=(your server ID)
    servergroupaddperm sgid=(SA group ID...by default its 6) permid=17286 permvalue=75
    Regards

    Did you select the server with "use"?

    Similar

    I'm having similar problems.

    I'm logged in as serveradmin on the serverquery port (10011).

    Trying to change the logging options for all virtual servers using:

    Code:
    use sid=<insert serverid>
    serveredit virtualserver_log_query=1
    and I get
    Code:
    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=9023
    Right so I need to add that permission using:

    Code:
    servergroupaddperm sgid=2 permid=9023 permvalue=1 permnegated=0 permskip=0
    and I get
    Code:
    error id=2570 msg=insufficient\spermission\smodify\spower
    Chicken...meet Egg!

    I would have thought that serveradmin on the query port would be able to do everything? I shouldn't have to go modifying this in the database directly!

    All I want to do is modify logging!

    Anyone?

    Can anyone explain to me why I can't modify the top serveradmin's permissions?

    sgid=2
    i_permission_modify_power = 100
    i_needed_modify_power_permission_modify_power = 100

    To me this should allow me to modify the permissions right?
