    Hotkeys don't work at all

Hello, after being forced to download TS3 beta 11, my hotkeys have stopped functioning. I was previously running in beta 1 because the newer betas did not allow me to use my hotkeys, and that problem is back. Whenever I try to assign a hotkey, the grey box that tells me to choose a button just stays there and the hotkey never assigns. This is really annoying because I can't set whispers or set a push to talk button. I have Windows XP SP3 and I did download the right version (32 bit.) Any help? This is terribly annoying and the fact that they worked with beta 1 is more annoying.

Please send me your config file called ts3clientui_qt.conf

This file can be found in
    C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config
    or
    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Applicationdata\TS3 Client

    No Hotkeys Need Help

I have the same problem with the gray box and cannot set a hotkey, nor close by hitting Esc. I have to shut down Teamspeak and restart because it locks up the program. I am using Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit with a fresh install on a new hard drive. I also tried in XP Professional on my laptop with the same results. I can send a config file if needed.

We have found a bug that sounds like what you describe and we have fixed it. Please retest with the next client release (once it is out).

I'm using Beta 12 64bit on Win7 and have this problem. Any idea when a working version will be out? Thanks!

Has anyone successfully tried to edit the ts3clientui_qt.conf file to add push to talk and whisper keys manually? If so, care to share what needs to be added for the push to talk? Thanks!

Problem still persists after updating to client beta13. The annoying thing is that it's accompanied with the disability to use voice activation instead of push to talk. As a result the person having this is unable to talk in teamspeak 3.

Yes, confirmed, beta 13 did nothing for me to solve this issue. Bummer is our squad's server switched to this version so I can't go back to the tried and true TS2. I don't really care nor will I probably ever use the majority of the new nifty features that have made this version a lot more complicated that the previous one.

Push to talk or hotkeys cannot be entered and when the grey window appears (the one that asks for the push to talk key), teamspeak has to be closed from task manager as it becomes not responsive to any input.

I have one other clanmate that has the same problem with different hardware and software, I will post his setup asap.
