    TS3 Cronjob

    Edit by mod
    Please don't use this outdated script anymore! The script got an overhaul long time ago.
    Please use the minimal or startscript instead

    Hey, I've tried to do a Cronjob for starting TS3 in Background after Root-server reboot. But it wont work :S
    Cronjob:
    crontab -e -u ts3
    @reboot /home/ts3/teamspeak3-server_linux-x86/ts3server_linux_x86&
    Error when trying to use the command manually with user "ts3"

    give the filerights to your ts3 user? maybe the files are still owned by root?

    try
    Code:
    crontab -e -u ts3
    @reboot cd /home/ts3/teamspeak3-server_linux-x86/ && ./ts3server_linux_x86 &
    i cant understand, why the ts3 executable isnt able to determine its own path but with changing the directory before launching it works like a charm.

    Yea, this should work

    I've noticed it when i did the start script to my server. The server just can't be started from outside of its own dir...Its kinda weird.
