Thumbs up [Suggestion] - Server Rules Option

Woudln't it be easier if there would be an option to setup Server Rules, accessible after connected with an Icon. Or even that there are 2 options, either someone can click the Icon (if there are Rules set on a Server!) when he wants or make them a popup window, kinda page, which he has to agree on before he can do anything on the Server.

That way the use of a Website to link Rules to would not be necessary.

    Hi,

    Server Rules:

    1. Be happy!
    2. Dont be load!
    3. Babla...
    4. Babla... etc.

I accept the rules (X) <- If he/she press here the button, he/she can go in!

I dont accept the rules (X) <- If he/she press here the button, he/she is kicked from server or haven't much permissions!

    X = Button

    It's okay so?

    LOL

well yes, just that the text is up to be specified by the Admin, but that must be possible through the Client for the ones in the Main Server Admin group. Otherwise, for those of us that rent a TS Server, like I do, we dont get ServerQuery Permission etc. so we cant change that "on" the Server.

How about using the "host message" feature for this?
If you are allowed to use it of course.

The Host-Message feature only allows a very short message, nothing like you would have for a set of Rules. And besides, wouldn't it be better if accepting the Rules would be a must to enter the Server.

Like above message was as example. You have to confirm that you have read the Rules. So later if something happens, at least they can't say that they didnt know that they weren't supposed to do this and that, because they all came across the Rules.

Putting a Weblink to the Rules into the Channel Description etc. isn't the solution in my oppinion. And besides that would mean that there would be a Website necessary. And though these days almost everyone has one, still not anyone.

Would you click every time on the rules when connecting?
Even you know them and read them dozen times?

No, thats why it should be saved on the Server when the client accepts the rules that it doesnt show up for him again. Only for people that don't have that done with their unique ID. Shouldnt be impossible to do.
