    Beta 16 Error "pthread_create, error = EAGAIN"

    I am getting this error when trying to launch beta 16. I have been able to run it once but then I had to shut the server down to get it into another window and leave it running.

    Beta 16 wont work on any installation on this machine as I get a error on load

    Code:
    |CRITICAL|              |   | Failure during pthread_create, error = EAGAIN
    Beta 12 works fine.

    Beta 15 gave me a error

    Code:
    terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::thread_resource_error'
    what(): boost::thread_resource_error
    Aborted

    2.6.9-89.0.19.EL Linux Kernel
    Cent OS 4.8
    cPanel is my remote server manager.

    Is this to do with Fork Bomb Protection?

    Show us "ulimit -a" as the user that is trying to run the teamspeak server

    Code:
    core file size (blocks, -c) 200000
    data seg size (kbytes, -d) 200000
    file size               (blocks, -f) unlimited
    pending signals                 (-i) 1024
    max locked memory (kbytes, -l) 32
    max memory size (kbytes, -m) 200000
    open files                      (-n) 100
    pipe size            (512 bytes, -p) 8
    POSIX message queues (bytes, -q) 819200
    stack size              (kbytes, -s) 8192
    cpu time               (seconds, -t) unlimited
    max user processes              (-u) 20
    virtual memory          (kbytes, -v) 200000
    file locks                      (-x) unlimited
    I cant run it in screen or send it to the background with &
    But if I run it with just putty remoted in, it runs, until I close putty obviously.

    I dont have root but I'm sure the root admin wants to get me off his back.

    I'm thinking "max user processes (-u) 20" might be key here?

    Thanks in advance Peter

    Yes, the teamspeak server spawns 19 threads when you just run one virtualserver... If you run something like "ulimit -u 100" it should be better (provided you have the permissions to fiddle with that setting).

    You the man Peter! You the man!

    I thought thats what it was.

    http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linux-...r-process.html

    Would be the way of bumping it up?

    Code:
    # vi /etc/security/limits.conf
    and something like

    Code:
    vivek hard nproc 300
    @student hard nproc 50
    @faculty soft nproc 100
    @pusers hard nproc 200

    Bumped up the process limit to a more respectable number and it fired up fine.

    Code:
    core file size (blocks, -c) 0
    data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
    file size               (blocks, -f) unlimited
    pending signals                 (-i) 1024
    max locked memory (kbytes, -l) 32
    max memory size (kbytes, -m) unlimited
    open files                      (-n) 1024
    pipe size            (512 bytes, -p) 8
    POSIX message queues (bytes, -q) 819200
    stack size              (kbytes, -s) 10240
    cpu time               (seconds, -t) unlimited
    max user processes              (-u) 200
    virtual memory          (kbytes, -v) unlimited
    file locks                      (-x) unlimited
    Im sure this is going to hit google search like mad for people in non TS related subjects and trouble shooting.

    ALL HAIL GOOGLE!
