Hi
Could you elaborate the question? Did you meant "assign channel permission for A client"? If was that, you can do that in Channel Client Permissions and then entering a client ID and selecting a channel. The normal channel groups permissions is done in Channel Groups.

I tried Channel Client Permissions, but I have no idea how to set my client permission level for each channel. I did right click and bla bla.

From these 2 images. Could you give me an example if I want to assign "Channel Operator(6)" privilege in "XGN Team" to Dark-Master, please?
Oh, i get it now, even tho the images are tiny
As far as i know, you can't assign users to channel groups like the way you do with server groups. The only way to add is either by moving the person to the channel and assigning with right click > Set channel group > Channel admin OR using tokens if they are not connected. To do that, go to Permissions > Token manager > Add token > Select channel group and then the group and the channel you want to generate the token for. After your done you can send the token to the person and they will get the permissions you've chosen![]()
Thank you, I usually do it like that. (sorry for those images, I've put the wrong url)
I want that because I'm running a server for gaming community and I just started a forum for TS3 for users, so they can submit a request for permanent channels and I can assign them a permission with their ID easily.
So the answer is NO.
I Think TeamSpeak 3 Server should have this as an option by default.![]()
Yea, i think so also, even tho im sure they have this already on the ToDo list.
I just rechecked the server query manual but it still seems that this can't be done yet. We have the "servergroupaddclient" but not a "channelgroupaddclient".
I was thinking to find that kind of query too. So what we have to do is wait.
Thank you
Sorry for bumping.
I just need to know that is this option available for now in beta17?
This is already possible
Example from ts3_serverquery_manual.pdf
channelclientaddperm cid=12 cldbid=3 permid=17276 permvalue=50|permid=21415 permvalue=20
Why is the permissions sytem so complicated.
All I want to do is give someone permission so they can add sub-channels in one root channel only.
I have ticked everything in the 'Channel client permissions' section but no go
The permissions sytems needs a serious overhaul
