    Avatars

    Hey,

my members are not allowed to upload own avatars.
They do not get an error-message and nothing is being written to the servers files.

Do i need special chmod settings for that?

    Greetings

I would all Folders (and Subfolders) of TS give ChMod 777.

    Edit by mod
NEVER apply chmod 777 on a folder. It's a security hole on a Linux system.

I still have the same problem.

    some informations:
    Server:
    Upload:
    bandwidth: -1
    upload Quota: -1

    Group:
    i_client_max_avatar_filezize: 51200 (no heel's)
    i_ft_file_upload_power: 75 (no heel's)

    ChMode of the folder: 0777

    error msg:
    file transfer connection timeout

does anyone can find the mistake?

Please use an ini file to start your server and set your File transfer IP/Port to your serverip instead of 0.0.0.0 , then it should work

@SpWiRa: No need to the set the folders world-writeable.
Just make the user under which Teamspeak runs the owner of the folder(s) and he should have rwx.

This is bs advice. 0.0.0.0 == any ip, works totally fine

Make sure your bandwidth limit is sane (right click on server icon => edit virtual server)
