    Question - about server upgrades

    I downloaded teamspeak3-server_win64-3.0.0-beta17
    What is the upgrade process?
It would seem that if I overwrite all the contents of the running directory that this would reset the server. (database [flat] files)

    Platform:Windows 7 64-bit
    Installed version:
    teamspeak3-server_win64-3.0.0-beta16
    Install Directory:
    C:\AppServices\teamspeak3-server_win64\

i'd like to know the best process for this as well.

currently i copied the following directories from beta 16 to beta 17:

    files\
    logs\
    query_ip_whitelist
    ts3server.sqlitedb

and everything looks like it's in order. there was no warning of an outdated server when i connected with the latest client and all my settings seem to be right.

hopefully i got everything i needed, and hopefully they create an updater for the server side of things too.
