Serveradmin is able to modify max_clients

    Hey Guys,

Today i set up my Ts3 Server. After that i get Server Rights 100
    Code:
    login serveradmin PN7QBFeq
    use sid=1
    servergroupaddclient sgid=2 cldbid=2
So after that i Changed the Rights of the ServerAdminGroup(3), because on my virtual servers the admins shouldn´t be able to modfiy max clients and the port.
Ok than i created a second Server but the Server Admin on this Server was able to modify the rights he shouldn´t be able to. Can anyone of you help me.

    Best Regards

    I also did this command
    Code:
    servergroupdelperm sgid=3 permid=9007
Are there any commands to disable server port and server slot rights for the server admins on my virtual servers?

If you are a member of the Query Admin Group, you should be able to edit the template groups as well in "Rechte-Servergruppen" menue.
There you can set what rights the default groups should have on any server.
Dont forget to remove the grant-values for rights they shouldnt edit or assign.

The modified Template Groups would only take effect on a NEW virtual Server and NOT on the already existing one, where you would have to remove the Permission in the ServerAdmin group itself (NOT the Template one but ID6 if its the first VirtualServer).
You also might have to restart the entire Server process for these Changes to take effect.

If i understand what you said. I modify the template group ServerAdmin(3) and after that i have to restart the server that my changed take effect.
I edited group3 the template group and the admins on my new servers although had rights to change slots and port.
Is the reason for that, that i forgot to restart the server??

You did modify the Template Group (3) this will only take effect for NEW servers as you seem to have discovered already. You now have to make the same changes to the normal ServerGroup for the ServerAdmins (usually 6 on the first server) in order to be able to have the right to change the stuff on the existend server.

    Yeah i know.
But i modified the Template Group(3) although the Server Admins on my NEW Virtaul Server were able to change max clients and port. The Template Group(3) didnt have the right to change that.
Do i have to restart the server after modifying the template group??

    best regards
