Solved Add/Remove user from channel group by query

    Hello,

I have rule on the server that channel admin must update date in channel topic to prevent inactive channels. When date is older than xx days, I lock channel (0 max users) and remove all sub.
How can I also remove all channel admins which were assigned to this channel?

    I found sollution I think.

    Code:
    use sid=1
    channelgroupclientlist cid=648
    setclientchannelgroup cgid=8 cid=648 cldbid=843

However can someone help me to automize it somehow ?

    Regards

    Easier channel group permission access

It would be cool if the current "Channel client permissions" tab would be improved to list the channel group of the selected user & channel at the top. So that you could enter a user on the very left and then switch to the channels and set the channel groups without having to switch that user through all channels and set the group manually.

In TS2 you could also give a user CA/Op etc. only when he was in the channel.
In TS3 you can alternately use ServerQuery to set the channelgroup of a user, without him being in that channel.
    -> setclientchannelgroup

I do know that, but I'm neither talking of TS2 nor of SeverQuery.

Question about channel op and admin

    Greetings all,
I was wondering where are the channel op and admin settings kept. I flagged a users as a channel op on one of my channel which was easy enough when he was logged in but how do i add someone to channel op when the user is off-line?

I checked in the permissions and I can't see anywhere the username can be added to a channel group. I can go to "Channel Groups of Clients" under Permission and see what channel groups a client is attached too but there is no way from what I can tell on adding or removing someone for a channel group.

I'm actually surprised that it's not there.

    any Ideas?

If you have access to ServerQuery you can set an users channelgroup with the command "setclientchannelgroup".
