    [Solved] Big problem with permissions

    Hello,

my english is not so good, but i hope you will understand me
I have a big problem with the server permissions. My Teamspeak Viewer says that:
    Code:
    TS3 error id=2568
    msg=insufficient client permissions failed_permid=4356
    I would add this permission:
    Code:
    login serveradmin PASSWORD
    use sid=1
    servergroupaddperm sgid=1 permid=4356 permvalue=1 permskip=0 permnegated=0
    servergroupaddperm sgid=2 permid=4356 permvalue=1 permskip=0 permnegated=0
    But Query says:
    Code:
    error id=0 msg=ok (49 ms)
    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=17282 (29 ms)
    Total: 78 ms
Than I would add permission "17282" with:
    Code:
    login serveradmin PASSWORD
    use sid=1
    servergroupaddperm sgid=1 permid=17282 permvalue=1 permskip=0 permnegated=0
    servergroupaddperm sgid=2 permid=17282 permvalue=1 permskip=0 permnegated=0
    But Query says again:
    Code:
    error id=0 msg=ok (49 ms)
    error id=2568 msg=insufficient\sclient\spermissions failed_permid=17282 (29 ms)
    Total: 78 ms
How can I add this 17282 permission?
I can't add me to ServerQuery Admin too, because this permission failed.

I hope you unsterstand me and you can help me.

    Bye

Mhhh.. Your Login should be correct (see it now).

    A Second try:

Set your ID as Query Admin and try it again.

    Third Thing:

Take this direktly in the Database (SQLLite Editor or Other).

When updating the server, the new version may introduce new permissions. In such a case, no client on the database is updated to have that permission.
The announcement thread usually has a post then that tells you, how to add those permissions to the default server groups. You should read there and do those steps.

    Btw. 4357 is b_serverinstance_permission_list, and 17282 is i_group_member_add_power.

I haven't update my server, i have installed it new.
In my teamspeak client the permissions aren't called like yours, they have normal names.

Look at the bottom of the permissions screen for a drop down menu. Change from what it currently shows to the 2nd option. (sorry, I'm at work and can't look)
