    ports inbound & outbound?

    Hi all,

I've managed to grasp most of this from searching around but one thing is not clear to me.

    Default voice port (UDP): 9987
    Default filetransfer port (TCP): 30033
    Default serverquery port (TCP): 10011

I'm guessing these need to be opened in both directions?

Also, what about the port 3306 for the mysql database inifile. Is it TCP or UDP, and, does that one need to be open both directions?

    Sorry if it's a noob question. =)

    Hi

Yes, those 3 default ports are need to be opened in both directions. The MySQL port is set so TS3 knows where to knock for the database. Except if you have the database in another machine, you don't need to open any door, cause it connects locally.

    Regards
