Question Help - Output Device ok - Input device error for all non-admin users

    Hi all,

For some strange reason all the users of my guild can hear each other but the only ones able to be heard are the Admins.

Is there a permissions switch I've missed or something?

    Hi

I don't get what you mean. You said that everyone can hear everyone but only the admins can be heard? That doesn't seems to make sense...Care to explain?

    Regards

I and two others have admin rights and we can speak and be heard but other users with no admin rights can hear us but can not communicate with us or anyone else.

It seems as if their mics are muted but they are not. They can test the Capture device in the settings panel and everything checks out but when they try to speak in any channel they can not be heard.

But they can hear me and the other admins just fine.

Do they have enough talk_power to speak in that channel?

Ah. This may be the problem.

How would I go about setting the talk power?

In the permissions you can set the talk power for a server group or channel group or an individual client. If you EDIT the channel you can see what the required talk power for that channel is. Default is 0

That is correct the default is zero. what is the default for users? what should it be set to to allow everyone to talk?

The same value or higher as the needed talk power of the channels. The actual number does not matter
