    Unhappy Font type change!

    Hi,

    TS3 version: TeamSpeak3-Client-win32-3.0.0-beta20
    OS: Windows XP 32bit. SP3

I resently installed TS3 without any problems whatsoever. Vast improvement over TS2 BTW.

But now the appearance of font type has changed to a point where it makes reading the various heading, drop downs etc. virtually unreadable.

Being unable to solve the issue I un-installed, then re-installed unfortunately this has not fix the problem.

    Would appreciate your help.

    Vielen dank,

Are you using a skin or is that the default skin?

    Unhappy TEXT Appearance?

    S! all,

I have tried a new skin 'DVDTS_Skin12-28-09' in the hope that this would solve the problem of virtually unreadable text , but even this hasn't fixed it. There must be someone that can help me surely.. Come on Support, where's your support?

Thanks in anticipation of a fix!

I cannot reproduce this using the default skin or DVDTS.

Try to uninstall beta 20 and download beta 17. See if you still have this issue and if not use the update feature w/ in the client to update it to 20 and see if the issue comes back.

    Question TEXT Appearance?

    Hi Poisonpanik,

Thanks at your attempt to solve the issue. I took your advice and uninstalled beta 20 Downloaded beta 17. Then had to update it to 20, sadly I am faced with the same problem of very poor quality text.

So it looks as if I'm just going to have to live with it!!
    Never mind.

    Nope! sorry PP

Am now wondering if it could be something completely unconnected to TS3. is that at all possible? The first time I opened TS3 it was working just fine! The subsequent times have caused this text issue.

That's what I am wondering as well. Have you recently installed any programs other than TS?

No, not since installing TS3. on the 14th Apr.

The thing that I find very odd.. When I first used TS3, I hadn't any issues with the Appearance of the text at all.

    Talking

Ok, I think I know your problem.

The Appearance of windows has changed. If you are using Windows Vista, Right Click on the Desktop and Select Personalize, then click on Window Color and Appearance. Click on Advanced and then change the fonts that are located under each of the types below to what you want.

    Active Title Bar
    Menu
    Message Box
    Pallette Title
    Selected Items
    Tool Tip

Do not change the Icon font size as this will change the Icon Fonts on your desktop. But changing the above options will also change the fonts inside TeamSpeak and your other programs that you run.

If you run a different version of windows, tell me and I will walk you through the steps to change the font sizes.

    Hope this helps you,

    Liquid Memory

P.S. This will not change the fonts in text chat sections or channel sections. As far as I know, there is no way to change these as of yet. Probably will have to wait for the Alpha Version of TS3 to come out.

    Thumbs up

    Hi,
    Thanks, it certainly does!
As you say.. hope the Alpha version has a way to change the chat, and channel sections too.

    Much appreciated LM
