    random client disconnects

clients have been randomly disconnecting from my servers. when this happens 90% of the people disconnect simultaneously. there are 2 or 3 people it doesn't affect. i have already tried the following:

    • Have everyone downgrade to beta 16
    • Downgrade the server version to beta 17 (oldest backup)
    • Disable my anti-virus and allow all packets except for untrusted through the firewall
    • DMZ my server
    • manually forward the teamspeak voice ports
    • restart the server box and server window repeatedly
    • try to connect with pre beta 18
    • disable the router firewall

my web server, ftp server, and teamspeak 2 server all work wonderfully.

teamspeak 3 server worked beautifully till i upgraded from beta 17 to beta 19

there is nothing unusual in the log file. local connections work every time.

teamviewer says that the server is up even when it isn't so i'm assuming it's a problem with the voice port but i con't imagine what the problem is.

i am running nothing other than anti virus and firewall on my test machine that is also unable to connect during these outages

my server is running windows XP 32bit SP3

our ts3 server randomly kicks all players off too

it tells all the clients the server has shutdown when it hasnt shutdown and it needs to be restarted in order to allow clients back on

i have restarted the server by closing the console window then launching the exe every time it has this problem to no avail. not thinkin that's it. the funny thing is that when i downgrade to a previously stable version or make a completely new server of any given beta it still has the same problem.

sounds like network trouble...can you test ts2 in parallel to make sure?

Also, be sure to check your log file for anything suspicious (e.g. messages telling you your time source is broken)

like i said ts2, vent, http, ftp, etc... servers work perfectly. teamspeak server worked perfectly until a recent upgrade. for some reason however downgrading does not fix the problem

    Hiho,

I have the same Problem. People disconnect permanent. TS 2 etc. are running without problems at the same time.

The disconnected People are reconnecting several times and disconnect again after a few seconds.

I havent find something in the log files and have really no idea what the could be?

Any idea what the problem could be?

    so long

UPDATE: I removed the teamspeak 3 client from the server computer and deleted all registry keys related to teamspeak as well as any anti virus softwares i had previously used. so far the server has been up almost a full day w/o problems...this is not conclusive but it does give hope. more later.

this reply really doesn't fit here...i would reccommend that you post another thread.

as far as this thread is concerned it seems to have fixed itself. so far all servers have been up for 4 days
