    Ca Permissions.

    Hello,

I have some Problems with the CA, i create a Mainchannel and some Subchannels. When i create the CA Token for the Mainchannel the User have only permissions on the Mainchannel. How to create a Token that give Permissions in the Main and all the Subchannels of the Mainchannel?

I hope you can help me and sorry for my bad English.

A user can only be a member of 1 channel group at a time. [bad info redacted - see post below] I know the Devs are working on inherited channel password from main channel to sub-channels, not sure if they would include inherited as well.

    Ok thanks.
Another Question it is possible to give an CA the permission to kick a User out of the Channel but to disable the kick from the Server.

I don't see how you would be able to disable "kick from server" in my quick test. I did figure out that CA is inherited in a sub-channel if you have CA in the parent channel so my previous statement is wrong... lol

And normally, if an user has Op or CA in a parent channel, he should have this too in the subchannels.

    Normally, yes.
    I know the reason.
I don't know the complete name of the according right at the momemt because I have no Teamspeak on this computer here, but it is something like "Inheritance ..."
If this right is set, CA rights, OP rights and so on will be granted for subchannels, too.

You can only be in one channelgroup per channel. If you have 5 channel it is possible to have in each channel a different channelgroup.

I had fixed the CA Subchannel Problem.

I had an new Problem. I'd create a channel and give him the permission modify power 75, but nobody can set the talkerflag. When i try to remove the permission i became an "insufficient permission modify power" error. Everyone an Idea to fix that?

    Sorry for my Bad Englisch

/edit: The SA Group had an permission modify power of 75

You can use the "ServerQuery". This command can help you with your problem:

    Usage: channeldelperm cid=123 [permid={permID}...] [permsid={permName}...]

Removes a set of specified permissions from a channel. Multiple permissions
can be removed at once. A permission can be specified by permid or permsid.

    Example:
    channeldelperm cid=16 permid=17276|permid=21415
    error id=0 msg=ok

How i can find the permsID? I had only use
    Code:
    channeldelperm cid=80 permid=17292
When i use the Webinterface Query i became this error again:

    Code:
    error id=2570 msg=insufficient\spermission\smodify\spower
When i use the TS3 Serverquery i became this error:

    Code:
    error id=1024 msg=invalid\sserverID (0 ms)
    Total: 0 ms
    Thank you!

You use a wrong server ID. Check you server ID with following commands:

    Code:
    serverlist
    Example:

    error id=0 msg=ok (21 ms)
    virtualserver_id=1 virtualserver_port=**** virtualserver_status=online virtualserver_clientsonline=2 virtualserver_queryclientsonline=1 virtualserver_maxclients=512 virtualserver_uptime=1305473901 virtualserver_name=(`._)\sTestserver\s(_.) virtualserver_autostart=1 virtualserver_machine_id
    error id=0 msg=ok (36 ms)
    Total: 57 ms
