    File Transfer Max Size

First I would like to say thanks to all the developers of this product..I have used Ventrilo for quite some time and a friend told me about team speak. This is a great product...Been using it for a few days now and it is very impressive at the level of things that can be done with this software

Ok i may have this posted in the wrong spot.(If I Do I'm Sorry)

What i am wondering is last night I was trying to transfer some rather large files across the file transfer utility and got a message that the max file size had been reached and the server shut down..

What i am wondering is if there is a way to change the max file size limitation on the server so that files no matter what size can be transferred?

    Thank You

    Bryon

How big are the files you are transfering? What are your file transfer permissions?

    i.e.
    i_ft_quota_mb_upload_per_client
    i_ft_quota_mb_download_per_client

The files are larger than 2 gig...when it reaches 2 gig server states max file size has been met and the server shuts down and has to be restarted..I am new to this system but seems like a very good one...If Im looking in the right spot I dont have any quota set up at all that i know of that i am seeing

If those two are set to -1 that means infinite. Also try to edit your virtual server (right click on your server name and press EDIT VIRTUAL SERVER) and check the transfers tab.

    Mine shows permission as follows
These are how the permissions look for server admin
Download quota per client in Mbyte -1 then it has 75 under grant column
Upload quota per client in Mbyte -1 then has 75 under grant clolumn

I rechecked those permissions and they are -1 so im not sure what is going on..I also checked the file transfer tab for the server and those are set to -1 as well

    Max file transfer size

Has anyone solved this issue? I seem to be suffering from the same 2 GB max file size. Server is Linux 3.0.0-Beta22. Using latest client in windows 3.0.0-Beta20.

    Exclamation

Same problem here. Server just crashes once the 2GB are reached. Log file doesn't contain any information about it.

    This is really bad.

    uname -a:
    Linux lvpsxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.dedicated.hosteurope.de 2.6.18-028stab070.14 #1 SMP Thu Nov 18 16:04:02 MSK 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
    Operating system:
    Debian Squeeze

    File system:
    ext3, I guess.

This is the logfile (it is short because I restarted the server and tried to continue the upload):

Maybe your file system can not hande files bigger than 2Gb? Have you checked that?
I can upload more than 4Gb on my Linux server without problems.
